Mechanisms have been put in place for the reintegration and adaptation of children who have been taken by Russia and have subsequently been rescued,” stated Andriy Yermak.

The ‘Bring Kids Back UA’ initiative represents a concerted effort by Ukraine to address the heart-wrenching issue of child abductions, often involving complex legal and logistical challenges. This comprehensive plan not only focuses on the rescue and repatriation of these children but also includes provisions for their successful reintegration into Ukrainian society.

The mechanisms established under this initiative aim to provide abducted children with the necessary support and resources to overcome the emotional and psychological challenges they may face upon their return. The goal is to ensure a smooth transition and facilitate the children’s adaptation back into their families and communities.

The success of reuniting 11 Ukrainian children with their loved ones in just one week demonstrates the effectiveness of Ukraine’s commitment to this vital mission.
