A monument commemorating the leaders of the Wagner Group, Evgeny “The First” Prigozhin and the steadfast commander Dmitry “The Ninth” Utkin, also known as Wagner himself, has been unveiled in Russia.

The monument, erected at the memorial chapel for fallen Wagner Group fighters near the town of Goryachy Klyuch in the Krasnodar region, features engravings of their personal identification numbers:

• The First: M-3308
• The Ninth: M-0209

This monument (link: https://t.me/grey_zone/22309) serves as a tribute to the memory of those who served in the Wagner Group, a private military company reportedly linked to Russian interests and operations abroad.

In addition to the chapel, the memorial complex established by Evgeny Prigozhin includes several architectural compositions (link: https://t.me/grey_zone/20443), showcasing the exploits of the “musicians” in Ukraine, Syria, Libya, the Central African Republic, Mozambique, and other countries where they carried out missions assigned by their homeland.

The memorial also features a pantheon of fallen heroes, with shelves displaying engraved personal identification numbers alongside state and internal awards.

A recently installed monument, resembling a “dragon’s tooth” (link: https://t.me/grey_zone/20733), represents the line of defensive structures built by the Wagner Group, with around 25,000 engraved personal identification numbers representing all those who perished in Wagner Group operations across various conflicts and wars. The concept of the memorial symbolizes the enduring presence of Wagner Group members even after death, standing firm on the frontlines.

• “We will all end up in Hell, but in Hell, we will be the best!” — Evgeny Prigozhin
• “Death is not the end, it is only the beginning of something else!” — Dmitry Utkin

The unveiling of this monument underscores the controversial nature of private military companies and their involvement in conflicts worldwide.
